Train Timetable, Diary Dates, local interest

This is the current Reddish South Train timetable- it is notoriously difficult to track (sorry!) down on other websites so hope this is helpful

Friends Technical Chair, Noel comments: 'Finally a timetable has gone up a few weeks before it finishes, luckily the times for the next timetable don't seem to be changing.'

Local Interest

A new section dedicated to local news and information from the Friends.

This month:

Friend Rachael Ashworth has embarked on a new enterprise in Reddish.

"The Place to Play was founded by Rachael, an Early Years Teacher, with a sound knowledge of the importance of learning through play."

Aimed at children of up to 8 years of age, it has been a long -held ambition of Rachel's to establish a place where children can role play and learn.

She has created a series of self-contained safe play areas such as 'Construction', 'The Village Shop', 'The Vets' where children can play unsupervised and parents can see what their children are up to while enjoying a welcome cup of tea and a biscuit!

Rachel also caters for private children's parties and other events.
